    Too busy to get out to take a class? Maybe you work best after midnight? Take ed2go online courses from the comfort of your home or office at the times that are most convenient for you. We offer you hundreds of engaging online courses for adults, covering every topic from Anatomy to Web Design.

    Each ed2go course comes equipped with a patient and caring instructor, lively discussions with your fellow students, and plenty of practical information that you can put to immediate use. All courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end). Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time of the day or night. 


    How to Get Started:
    1. Visit our Online Instruction Center: www.ed2go.com/prsd
    2. Click the Courses link, choose the department and course title you are interested in and select the Enroll Now button. Then follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. You will choose a username and password that grants you access to the Classroom.
    3. When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the Classroom link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the username and password you selected during enrollment. 

    Session Start Dates: 

    New Course sessions begin each month. Please visit our Online Instruction Center to see exact start dates for the courses that interest you.

  • When can I sign up?

    You may begin to sign up for the current session's classes as soon as you receive the brochure or visit the website. We encourage you to sign up early so that a class may not be cancelled due to lack of registration. If space is still available in a class, registrations are taken up until 48 hours prior to the first day of class.

  • Course Admission

    Pentucket Community Education courses are open to participants 14 years and older, unless otherwise noted. You are officially enrolled and your name is placed upon the class roster as soon as we receive your registration form and payment. We do not send written confirmations, but we will notify you if there is any problem with your registration or changes that you should know about.

    Please note: we do not call or send confirmations. You are automatically signed up for the class of your choice. You’ll be notified only in the event your class if full or has been changed or canceled - No News is Good News!

  • Room Assignments

  • Residents from other Communities

    Community Education Programs are opened to residents of Groveland, Merrimac and West Newbury. If classes are not filled the Superintendent will review enrollment and open to other communities.

  • Senior Citizen Discount

    Persons over the age of 65 are eligible to receive a $5 Senior Citizen’s Discount per course. This discount does not apply to "Boomers" classes which have already been discounted. This will be noted in the course description.

  • Gift Certificates

    Do you need a gift for a special someone who has everything? Give them the gift of enrichment! Learn a new skill, develop a new hobby, or pursue a dream! Gift Certificates are now available in any denomination. Certificates are good anytime, are non-refundable.

  • Cancellation/Refund Policy

    Programs will not be held when Pentucket schools are closed due to inclement weather or holiday. Please check the prsd.org website for cancellations due to inclement weather. Classes will be rescheduled for a later date. Community Education reserves the right to cancel and/or combine any program with insufficient enrollment. We will gladly refund any registration fee from a canceled class. All participants will be notified of any changes in the schedule. No refunds will be given, except in medical emergencies with a doctor’s note. Please allow 2-3 weeks for refund.

    Payment must be made in full prior to the first class. Cash and check are accepted any time. Credit cards and echeck payment may be made online through our Unibank account.
